On Thursday, Donald Trump made a bold statement regarding Iran's crucial oil export center, Kharg Island, threatening to seize control of it and take "total control" of the nation's oil and gas markets.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump expressed his intention, declaring, "At some point in the not too distant future, we will be taking Kharg Island, and other oil infrastructure points." He emphasized that this course of action would align closely with the successful approach the U.S. has undertaken in Venezuela, which he claimed is yielding positive results for both the Venezuelan  and the United States.

Trump's comments raise significant concerns about escalating tensions in the region, as the seizure of strategic oil facilities would likely provoke a strong response from Iran and could destabilize the already fragile geopolitical landscape.
